1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
Video Content
When you use SwingTrail, you may import or record videos from your device. This video content is processed locally on your device to generate motion trail effects. We do not upload, store, or have access to your video content on our servers.
Subscription Information
If you purchase a premium subscription, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive limited information about your subscription status through our payment processor RevenueCat, but we do not receive or store your payment details, credit card numbers, or billing address.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Device Information
We may collect certain device information automatically, including:

3. Data Storage & Processing
3.1 Local Storage
All your video content, projects, and generated videos are stored locally on your device. This includes original clips, trimmed segments, generated motion trail videos, project thumbnails, and processing data. This data remains entirely under your control and is not transmitted to our servers.
3.2 Cloud Processing
For motion trail generation, certain video frames may be processed through third-party AI segmentation services. This processing sends only the minimum data necessary for effect generation and does not retain your video content after processing.
3.3 Subscription Data
Subscription status and anonymous purchase identifiers are processed through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. Please refer to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details on their data practices.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

Local Data
Persists until you delete projects, delete the app, or clear app data through device settings
Analytics Data
Anonymous analytics may be retained for up to 24 months for product improvement
Subscription Records
Maintained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their respective retention policies
6. Your Rights & Choices
6.1 Access and Control
You have full control over your local data. You can delete any project at any time, export your videos before deletion, or uninstall the app to remove all local data.
6.2 Subscription Management
Manage or cancel your subscription through iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions or the App Store app.
6.3 California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
SwingTrail is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
9. International Data Transfers
If you use SwingTrail outside the United States, please note that any data processed through third-party services may be transferred to servers in the United States or other countries. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be indicated by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. For significant changes, we will provide notice through an in-app notification. Your continued use of SwingTrail after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
